The tasting room is located on US Highway 290E, just past the Lyndon Johnson National Historical Park. Tastings are conducted inside and outside, with comfortable chairs and beautiful views.
Varietals include cabernet sauvignon, grenache, malbec, Merlot, Mourvedre, Sangiovese, and other fantastic Texas Hill Country wines. The current best-sellers are a 2019 red blend called Hunter and a white wine blend from 2021 called Mary Ruth.

Messina Hof offers wine tasting in a quaint European-inspired tasting room just off US Highway 290E, 10 miles from downtown Fredericksburg. Starting from humble beginnings on one acre of land back in 1977, Messina has grown into one of the top Fredericksburg wineries.
They offer an impressive portfolio of wines, including dry, sweet, sparkling, port, and dessert wines.
The tasting room is open Tuesday – Saturday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations are encouraged for Saturdays.
